In an effort to be funny and to thumb my nose at the disease that changed her life, I made
her a t-shirt that said f*©k cancer on the front, with 15 years cancer free on the back.
She loved it. She refused to wear it at her party, but still loved it (instead hanging it up for
all to see).
Then I thought – after this year, her shirt is obsolete. What happens when she reaches
year 16, 29, 34 and beyond?
Then the light bulb went on. Let’s create a shirt that she can wear year after year, marking
off each year as the significant milestone that it is. Thus the creation of Cancer Free Tees.
Here’s how it works:
1. The same sentiment graces the front of all of our Cancer Free Tees – f*©k cancer –
announcing to the world how we feel about cancer. (For those of you who are a bit more
timid, a shirt carrying the "Survivor" moniker is available).
2. The backs are different:
- Survivor Tees feature our Cancer Free Calendar which lists numbers from 1 to
50+ years cancer free, so survivors can circle the current year and mark off the last
one to highlight their ability to overcome cancer.
- Supporter Tees are blank on the back for you to honor or remember someone
special to you.
3. All Cancer Free Tees come with a permanent laundry pen to make your shirt your own.
Cancer Free Tees make great gifts. Survivor Tees are a perfect way to support someone
recently diagnosed and to celebrate with a long-time survivor. And don’t forget about those
family and friends who are touched by cancer – Supporter Tees are perfect for them too.
As an added incentive, we will donate 10% of each purchase to a different cancer-related
organization each quarter. To recommend one special to you, please email
info@cancerfreetees.com. Please tell us your story and why you support them.
My mom wears her Cancer Free Tee proudly. I hope you will too.

especially my Mom. She says she was going
